what scenarios will everyone be rooting for around the league this Sunday?

besides Atlanta, of course, i'd love to see some of the long shot underdogs prevail ... Tampa, St Louis, to a lesser extent, Dallas.

Otherwise, I dont really want Arizona in...so Id prefer San Fran to close out and have to travel to either Chicago or Green Bay for round 1.

We're also most likely looking at New Orleans @ Philly in the other round 1 matchup. If Philly wins out and then beats the saints in round 1, they would come to Charlotte ... if New Orleans wins out, we'd get the winner of San Fran & Chicago/Green Bay. Does Philly have the DLine (or any other pass rush) to punish the Saints? Philly is a huge wildcard.

Id love to have the one seed with us over ATL, SF over AZ, Shehawks losing to the Rams, Dallas beating Philly, Bears over GB and TB over NO.

The seattle scenerio isnt as crazy as it seems. The rams have played pretty good as of late and that D is no joke. I think the only way we get the one seed is for SF to win that division, someone correct me if im wrong. The bears and dallas are pretty beatable. AZ has a good defense but Palmer is a turnover waiting to happen. Any way the Aints get cucked out of the playoffs is fine by me as well.

I actually won't be heartbroken if we're knocked down to the 5th seed, since we are incredibly shitty after bye weeks under Rivera.

I want as high a seed as humanly possible. As well as this team is playing at home, it's no accident. I don't buy into the "NFC home field disadvantage" trend. Things happen, and the NFC has certainly fared well on the road in the playoffs of late.

Smith's injury, continuity, having an opportunity to host a big playoff game (perhaps two of them) is enormous.

Seattle, FWIW, has as many losses at home this year as Carolina. Ask Seattle fans if they'd be ok with a 5 seed.

I want the 1 seed, and it's attainable. If not, give me the 2 seed. Fuck having an extra game to win to get to the Super Bowl.

The Smith injury makes the bye rather important to secure.

Not wanting to make a possible west coast trip in January is a factor, too. I mean, nice win at SFO, but I wouldn't bank on beating them twice there in one season.

Still bad vibes about playing in Seattle, ya know, since we have always been cuckolds there.
