Now that this season is over who should we look at in next year's draft, maybe an offensive lineman?

I was legitimately preparing to fucking yell at you for hours on end.

It's obviously very hard to project actual needs a full year in advance and without some idea of what they'd do with free agency, with cuts, and so on.

safety's a glaring need - Shaun Williams and Colin Branch are FAs. Minter will be 33 and the only safety on the roster from this year. Williams or Branch could come back for one more year to help groom a young player, and then give way; Brandon Merriweather of Miami's a name that jumps out as a Fox player, a SS type player with FS athleticism. WHat doesn't? Apparently he was involved in a drive-by or other shooting altercation in which teammate Willie Cooper was attacked and successfully hit, and Merriweather fired three shots in retaliation. I have no idea what the fuck that's about and he was never found to have done anything wrong, but it's a bit shady, and slightly shady guys from The U aren't generally the most stable people.
    There's also Texas' Michael Griffin:

and Laron Landry of LSU, who's considered a true passing game playmaker in the style of a man-cover safety.

If you assume Morgan is gone, it's not entirely impossible we could go MLB, or we could as easily give the job to Seward or a free agent Draft. Paul Poluszny is the hype machine at MLB this year. A lot of potential inside/outside prospects this year who will need to find teams to correctly slot them in the right defense to succeed. OLB is obviously set, though it'll be up to the team to decide what to do with backing Davis and who might compete with Anderson since Diggs is a one year guy and Draft is the backup at SLB, and yet could very well play the other two positions instead this year. I doubt, with our youth there, we would draft an OLB.

It's entirely possible we could draft an offensive tackle in the first, regardless of Butler. Or we could still go with Butler and Wharton at left tackle. I really doubt we'd outright replace Gross at RT or draft a replacement of significant caliber before he goes, though, even if we need to. At this point, Wisconsin OT Joe Thomas is getting a lot of press, and somewhat rightly so, showing a lot of athletcism and poise at left tackle. Michigan tackle Jake Long has had some injury problems, but has more athleticism than your typical stiff Michigan prospect.

Those are some initial holes I see in the future. Most everything else is more of a veteran need.
