Panthers said just after the trade, that they were now in control. This seemed more important than going up to #1.

I read that trying to trade up to #3 was almost as expensive as #1.

We will get the guy we want at #1, or we can drop down to a suitable position. But, there are not 4 top QB's, if this logic goes right. There are 2.

Houston would be wise to wait till last minute and if their new coach is adamant about which QB they want, then it is their move to make. We lose leverage in asking them.

I really hope we're open to moving out of #1. With the Colts and Texans in need of a QB, I am hoping they save us from ourselves and make an offer too good to refuse.

If not, my reservations about both Young and Stroud are deuly noted...same with AR...I still like Levis, but he's shown that he's not going to be ready day one like AR.

That said, I lean towards Stroud at #1, but only because of Young's size.

I've moved into the Young camp at this point. If he can keep from getting killed out there, he's so far above everyone else that it would be insane to go any other direction. Stroud has an amazing arm, but so did Fields. If you can't process, you won't play well. So I would rather take the guy who doesn't need to improve there to be great than the guy who has everything but that ability.

Tragically (or comically, if you prefer) it's just not a great year to own the #1 pick. If it were, the Bears wouldn't have been trying to get rid of it like it was bad Tinder date.

I haven't watched any of these choices' complete games to have an opinion on any them.
So for me to say one is better than the other without seeing anything other than highlights is foolish.

Thought he made improvements last season especially towards the end of it.

No world beater but did get better.

The reported conversation between Bears and Chicago, to move up one spot, was next years 1st, but Chicago wanted more.
I would take it in a minute and move to 2

After sweetening the draft spot trade with DJ Moore, the Panthers would look like fucking idiots to move down.
The only thing you fuckers can agree on is your dislike for Tepper. It's like watching the Liberals hate of Trump. Everything that has gone bad with the Panthers is Tepper's fault.
    blah blah blah
You'll still hate him even if the Panthers win the Super Bowl.
Just like the Liberals still hated Trump even though the country was doing good during his time as President.

You have a point, maybe that is why a trade was not made.

Texans and Chicago would be correct
