If you're looking for a specific quote from Pete Carroll, you won't find it. Coaches don't post directives on the internet for people to win internet arguments. You'll just have to settle for outside sources and derive the rest.

No, dipshit. It's what he was forced to play at under Carroll. He'd routinely show up above that weight prior to the season and then was forced to get down to it. If Carroll's mandate weight for him was 225, they would have made him get down to 225. Instead he played at 235, so you put two and two together, dumbass. Then prior to the Rose Bowl when he knew his college career was going to be over anyway, he completely cut loose and gained 20 pounds.
