Maybe it was the cash. 6.5 million for a team that doesn't have a fan base to draw from for homegames. It would be hard to come up with that much cash I feel for the Bills.

I hope he does well wherever he ends up. I am just glad it is not going to be Dallas.

In general the Buffalo job is on the Raiders end of the scale for places coaches would like to go, which is how they end with people like Gailey- not because they can turn down someone with Fox's (albeit blemished) resume.

i think the other owners are very aware of what jr has done, and is doing, in prep for the lockout. i am sure they are aware the situation fox has been in. take the last 2 yrs out of the equation (the current yr being one), and you've got playoffs 3 out of 7 yrs. i am really starting to feel like fox gets a complete wash for the last 2 yrs. what say did he have in the draft? what kind of assistants could he get? if he knew, everyone in the nfl coaching world knew.
jr either had a knee jerk reaction after the arizona game, or was preparing for the lockout. shrewd as hell. it really fucks everyone but him.

since this thread quotes Gailey, my worry is that instead of the harbaugh staff I want, that you get the magical Grimm-Gailey pairing if Gailey's fired.

I have no reason to figure we wouldn't - I mean who needs luck when you have the Nick Goings quarterback?

I would absolutely be livid if Gailey came here in anything other than a Coordinator position. Watching him 'operate' at Tech I can't believe someone was stupid enough to offer him an NFL head gig. Let's not further that mistake.

I wouldn't be happy with him AS a coordinator.
