I like Chris' choice better than Julia's. Larry doesn't really agree with me, but I think the IS (Image Stabilization) is BOSS.

Normally, I would say yes... if IS is your bag... but for Chris, I'm thinking upgrade the body and go with the non-IS lens.

Crap - I'm sorry - you're absolutely right. I just glanced at it briefly and thought you were both talking about XTi's.

The upgrades between the XT and the XTi are HUGE, Chris - you want to go that way.

Pentax *ist DL2 and *istDS2 are smaller.
Pentax 100D and 110D's are smaller, too.
