I haven't had a lot of time to keep up this year but see that this guy is moving up, fast.

I hear of people projecting T to G all the time but G to T at the next level? Has he even played a game at T in college?

    What do y'all think?

Yes Albert has played tackle in college. Experts who have studied his tape think he could be the 2nd best tackle overall and maybe a better fit at left tackle than Jake Long. I have not seen the games that he played at tackle but the games at guard he looked amazing he seemed very fluid and very willing to block down field. I am by no means an expert by any stretch but the guy looked like a stud to me.

Easily the biggest gainer in the pre-draft run-up outside of Gholston. Started a lot of games always a big plus.

He played a couple at tackle. In theory we can keep him at guard and keep wharton at tackle, or we could put Albert at tackle and move wharton- hes versatile (if he can play center then that gives a real edge we loves us some centers)

He probably won't be there but it would really depend on the available OTs/DEs if he were.

There's a chance someone might fall in love with this guy (KC, DEN) and take him ahead of Clady! which I think is the only way Clady fals to us at 13!

The good thing about him rising is that one of the other top OT will fall......

It actually improves the odds of clady dropping.

I'd love to see him go ahead of us.
I don't buy him for us.

Main reason? He doesn't impress me as smart. Past that, long arms or not, I don't buy him as powerful. I buy him as a near-elite guard, in theory. I don't like the idea of "he's a tackle because he played two games there."

    Albert

Plus he's so fat. And the crew he runs with are questionable at best......Rudy, Mushmouth, Russell??? I mean c'mon....those guys are bad news.

I would be OK with us adding an elite guard instead of a tackle. I think Wharton is good enough at LT. I am not sure that Albert is really elite though.

The more hype I hear about Clady the more I think Williams might be the better pick for us.

The more I read about Williams, the more I notice the opinion that football is not his #1 priority, the more I think he's not a Fox guy.
