I loved "Of Mice and Men" but I swear I think Tortilla Flat is better.... it's a great read.

I've enjoyed the Pearl, MIce, and Wrath, but I couldn't finish Tortilla Flat. It just got on my nerves, don't know why.

Yup. He's written 2 books. The first is called Masked Rider which is about his bike tour through Africa. It's pretty entertaining considering the topic. I though I should reread it before I started his second book called Ghost Rider. WilliamJ hit the nail on the head. It's about him dealing with the sudden loss of his wife to cancer and his only child in a car accident. As any Rush fan would know, he's an excellent writer. I think you can get them both at Amazon.com if you're interested.

I just finished "The Killing Kind" by John Connolly and now I'm reading "Endymion" by Dan Simmons.
Next I'll read either "Executive Power" by Vince Flynn or "The Master Sniper" by Stephen Hunter.

    Good book. Probably his best.

I just picked up The Butlerian Jihad, which is a prequel to both Frank Herbert's Dune series and his son's prequel series.

Waiting in the wings: books 2 & 3 of A Series of Unfortunate Events by Lemony Snicket.

Just finished reading Anne Rice's "Blackwood Farm". Now, i'm reading alternating between two books, "The Devil Wears Prada" by Lauren Weisberger and "The Laws of Money, The Lesson of Life" by Suze Orman.
