    Sly,

What's Feist doing next? I'd kinda given up on him. The first few were great though. Very easy reading, but still a very engrossing story.

You wont be disappointed with Martin. Martin's writing is liked forced machismo, almost like he's overcompensating for something (???). His story is very believable because it's all character driven (lot less "critters & magic") and those characters are very easy to identify with because they have the same failings we do. Then he makes sure to resolve situations as brutally and no-holds-barred as he can, the way life can sometimes fuck you up in ways you didnt see coming.

Oh, and he says "cunt" a lot. I'm sure that means something.

    :D

The Grapes of Wrath. Just bought it out of curiosity.

Next is The Winter of Our Discontent. Also out of curiosity...

I just bought "Huck Finn" in the Modern Library paperback. It's a decent looking paperback, not like the crap ones they gave you at school. Those moderlibrary books have critiques and histories of the books as well, very cool.

Barnes and Noble print their own classics. The hard covers are $6 and most paperbacks are $4.

Good book, I read it the first go round in college. I read Steinbeck's "OF Mice and Men" just a couple of months ago.

Of Mice and Men was a good book... brings a whole new perspective to Looney Toons cartoons "Which way did he go George, which way did he go?"

"I will love him, and hold him, and pet him, and squeeeeeze him"
