What woulod it take for Jake to lose the starting QB job to Carr?

    A bad start and poor play. Or maybe just a bad start. 1-3 or 1-4, something like that. Some sort of stretch of bad games.

    Bledsoe got yanked with a 3-3 record, but the wins were against really bad teams, and he really struggled in those three losses. So a similar start could get Jake yanked, though I think Fox will have a bit more patience.

    Unless Jake is hurt, he'll start the season though. No question.

    I don't expect it to happen, but the same sequence of events that got him the job can take it from him. Fox has shown that he is not 100% opposed to making a switch at the half. History can repeat itself. Remember 2003?

    agreed. He'll have to be hurt or the Panthers will have to be outta playoff contention. He could lose it even if its only a short term injury if Carr comes in and plays solid.
