Come to Clover SC this weekend and I'll treat you to a delicious fried fish dinner I shouldn't eat but will be cooking. 1500 plates of it :thud:

Is it a matter of just unclicking it? Once I do that should I then go hunting for it?

Ok I am officially screwed. I followed Gales instructions about
    • hitting start
    • msconfig
    • clicking on safemode
    • then rebooting in safe mode over and over and over and over....

I hit the F8 button as it boots up and it quickly flashes the blue screen (safe mode) but it won't hold that screen. Somehow I got into the Windows Advanced Option Menu and am given these options
    1. SAFE MODE
    2. SAFE MODE W/NETWORKING
    3. SAFE MODE W/ COMMAND PROMPT
    4. ENABLE BOOT LOGGING
    5. ENABLE BOOT LOGGING
    6. ENABLE VGA MODE
    7. LAST KNOWN GOOD CONFIGURATION (YOUR MOST RECENT SETTINGS)
    8. DIRECTORY SERVICES RESTORE MODE (WINDOWS DOMAIN CONTROLS THAT WORK)
    9. DEBUGGING MODE
    10. DISABLE AUTOMATIC RESTART ON SYSTEM FAILURE
    11. START WINDOWS NORMALLY
    12. REBOOT
    13. RETURN TO OS CHOICES MENU

WHich one do I choose and do I need to push the F8 at some point. Also will I be able to get back into the msconfig to unclick that safeboot function so I won't be back in that circle?

    HELP

Choose Safe Mode. You've already pressed F8.

yeah just did, it just runs through the bootup senquence and maybe flashes the blue screen for a sec and then back to the what mode do you want to boot to. But never stops on that mode. I am going to box it up and find someone to look at it

run MSCONFIG while you are in safe mode and unclick /safeboot. Don't hit f8.
