Agreed, and well QB competition/depth or whatever we need there.

don't imagine that Moose was that expensive before. $2-3 million, two years wouldn't be terrible. Or, one year, but that'd likely include incentives.

From what I understand Kemo is due a huge roster bonus that make it likely we cut him if he will not redo his contract. Thomas played well but at his age I do not want to count on him to last another year. The other three have potential but are better suited for a rotation spot rather than starting. I am OK with Lewis.

I like Moose and would not mind seeing him stick around another year or two. I think it needs to be as the #3 guy though. We need someone other than Smith in the passing game. Moose was never fast and he has lost a step.

Despite Dwayne Jarrett coming off the milk carton on Sunday, the Panthers need a WR who can play. Other than Smitty, they have nada. Moose coming back on the cheap would be ok but he is long past being a big time player. The Fox situation is first priority but one way or another it gets decided this week. Next they have to make a decision on Peppers whatever it may be.

I figure Fox will be back. I certainly hope so anyway. Peppers is simple to me. Offer him a deal that we consider fair to both him and the team. If he turns it down then let him walk.

But David Carr already knows our offense.
