I could not agree more. But to your point. Sometimes a golfer can shoot par and only hit 2 of 18 greens in regulation. He could 3 putt 4 greens, he could only hit 17 fairways off his drive and still shoot par. Ugly game, but the same result of the guy that hit all fairways with finesse, skill and accuarcy.

The point - As far as an eye for talent, yes guys like Mort would obviously be someone to listen to versus anybody on this board, so I hear what you are saying.
