Green Bay people said Wahle sucked at T.

I don't see Wharton at C, but he didn't do bad at G last year.

I have Maser questions... I don't have any way to know how good he really is, but he needs to be better.

Jean-Gilles is going to be a guard, not a tackle. And assuming he gets even fatter, a busload of schoolchildren could get by him with no trouble.

Yes, but in each case Jake winds up to throw rather than keeping his arm elevated. It makes it much easier for defenders to knock the ball out of his hands by swiping at him from behind. But yeah, it is even more of a problem before his motion.

He's big, but his freshman and sophomore years he was a tackle. He's really big, but he's also got a ton of muscle and runs the 40 in or under 5 seconds, and he just kills people. Drew Carter looks to be hopeful but I say we either get an offensive lineman or a freakin running back cause our running game is anemic.

As bad as Jake looks at time he still comes through for us a lot. He basically did enough to win that game. The last drive where he hit Proehl for a TD was storybook stuff. His best wideout gone and forced to play with a wideout playing in his second game and a guy ready to join AARP and he still drives us down and takes the lead. It is not his fault that the kick coverage was bad and the defense was worse and the refs ultimately were not going to let Dallas lose.

As far as Wharton, he has not been terrible IMHO. He needs to improve but that could still happen. Maybe he gets stronger in the offseason. A stronger running game would make the whole OL look a lot better. The only thing that will get that done is to get a better running back. Outside of Foster's one big game against Atlanta no one has showed much this year. Certainly our OL blocks as well as Dallas's did for Jones. A good back could get yards for us.

I sure don't believe he gets 194 yards vs our D if our OL was over there blocking for him.

    This guy?:

He needs to work a little in the weight room – he had very little definition at the Combine weigh in and had a severe case of ‘man breasts’.

:lmao: Dude, you should just quit posting altogether. Seriously.

But Thelt's idiocy did remind me of a conversation I had last night. Dallas was consistently blowing out the right side of our defensive line, but while our O-line has done a decent job of opening some holes most weeks, I can't recall any game this season where they actually moved defenders downfield. We just don't get any push at all, which is a major concern for me. I've defended our guys in the past, but obviously that can't continue to happen for a supposedly "power running team."

Hell yes, no push. Most of my bitching and skepticism is related to OL stuff. We've tried to muscle people like Gilbert Brown and Teddy Washington but never can. Seems like some combination of Henning thinking he still has the Hogs, our criteria for how we pick our players, Maser's coaching of them.... I wish I knew. More than that, I wish they knew. I don't claim we have great RB's but I just can't put it on them that we can't get over 3 ypc, I put it on the blocking.

Jones was just on in that game. He was getting hit in the backfield and still bouncing it outside and making yards. The Dallas OL was not killing us that bad it was mostly just Jones doing it.

Dude, you seriously should just quit. The more you say things like this, the worse you look. Just let it go.
