Westbrook?

Nobody is even talking about this dude. I know the guy is a major head case, but he has some talent and isn't that old either. Should Fox take a chance on this guy? He could help us as long as he isn't blowing up all the time. He had one of his best yrs last season too. Whats up?

I think Westbrook has a better chance of production then say....Jefferes, Smith, and Hankton. Last year some dude held on to him all season long in FF and the only trade offer he would accept was for Moss, so he obviously thought a lot of him. As it turns out, Moss was not that far ahead, take away that one game.

I think what Fox needs is guys who are hungry though. Team players. No primas. I also would worry about bringing anybody in the would move Byrd and Smith lower on the depth chart and cause them to be disgruntled. I still would welcome a Westbrook, provided he can pass a physical.

out of all this, the baffling thing is that the Texans aren't touching any big receivers.

True, I think they could use a McCardell or Freeman to go with Gaffney. I think they might look at Jamal Anderson at the right price as well. The Texans could be a solid team, offensively at least, before long.
