Well, if Philly's not going to win, Holt may as well get me the 8 TDs and 260 yards I need to win the other championship

Just heard the Colts are playing Manning, Edge, Stokley, the whole crowd next week and are playing to win and to keep their momentum. To hell with the Falcons for throwing their game yesterday and the same for the Eagles tonight. Wonder if they really don't want to meet the Panthers in the playoffs and are doing their part to keep us out. We have to do our part to get us in.

The Eagles will probably still win.

I know that many of you are bitter that Atlanta's true colors were revealed at New Orleans yesterday. But I'm not. And here's why:

Had the Saints lost, they would be 6-9. We are 7-8. If we were to lose to New Orleans under this scenario, we would both be tied at 7-9. I think we would get in under the conference record rule, but it would be complex.

Either way, we have to win Sunday. Doesn't really matter if the AINTS are 6-9 or 7-8. The objective is simple: WIN OR GO HOME.

Plus....7-9 simply doesn't deserve a shot. I want to get in the right way, not backing into the playoffs with a home loss to a team we haven't lost to in over 2 years.

Judging by the way we demoralized the Saints back in New Orleans a few weeks ago, let's just say that I'm not losing a whole lot of sleep over this game. I think we will have a plan to counter the Saints only obvious strength--the return game. Our staff will push the boys just hard enough this week to get the job done.

By no means am I saying this game is a lock. It will be a challenge. But our playoffs started long time ago as far as I am concerned. If Jake can complete 80% of his passes and toss 4 TD's against the #1 pass defense in the NFL (TAMPA), I have a feeling he will be able do enough to win against the Saints, who have one of the less stellar pass defenses in the NFL.

True, this team does play better when it must win, and plays worse when it doesn't want to lose. Kinda like the difference from that three-draw series we ran, and the one where we only ran because Muhammad was getting tired.

    anybody watch NFL Countdown?

Mort had some shit to say about Martz and all the shit going on there...said he had maybe half the time to prepare for this game that he usually has...

besides, Andy Reid would have to be an idiot to play McNabb & Westbrook tonight...and Reid is not an idiot

Martz is the biggest putz in the NFL. What an asshole.

I don't see how this guy made it as far as he did.
