Weird Problem

Both my Internet Explorer browser and Outlook Mail programs are acting as though they are being blocked by a firewall, accept I don't have a firewall installed .

And while I can't access the net through both Microsoft programs, I can access it through my Netscape browser with no problems.

Anyone have an idea as to what's wrong?

Outlook and IE share internet settings, so that's where to start. They might think you have to go through a proxy server. I'd make sure everything is unchecked under 'LAN Settings'.

Is this a recent development?

Whats the year on your calendar?

Also, enable or disable XP firewall - restart, try again.
