Another week of football. I learned a lot this week on TBR. I learned that Foster's insides are runny (he should really get that checked out), Santa Claus lives in Charlotte and covers the Panthers, and that Collin really, really needs to get laid more than I thought possible.

Seriously. I bet their are even hookers who will let you talk about the parrellels between the struggles of Balkan nations and Doom 3. Not that I would know about such things myself, just sayin.....

Anyway, upward and onward with week 5. We gots us sum mur learnin todoo.

    Baltimore at Detroit -- Lions

Anthony Wright has a career QB rating of 64.2. Someone Joey can look up to. Gotta have goals.

Jamal Lewis is averaging 2.5 yards per carry. He may want to try a different offseason program next season....

    Lions win at home

    Chicago at Cleveland -- Bears

Bears are holding opposing offenses under 30 percent conversion on third down, something the Browns struggle with. Bears ride Jones to victory.

    Miami at Buffalo -- Bills

McGahee has had success running against Miami last year, and Holcomb may give the team a spark.

New England at Atlanta -- Pats

Pats have not lost two straight games since 2002.

New Orleans at Green Bay -- Pack

Pack come through with a close win for once. Aaron Brooks, after looking good against us in week 1, has struggled with a QB rating below 70.

Seattle at St. Louis -- Rams edit pick

OK. So both starting WR are out for Seattle. No matter how listless the Rams have looked, Seattle on the road without their WRs, I ain't picken them against anyone.

Tampa Bay at N.Y. Jets -- Bucs

The clock is ticking on the Vinnie and the Jets reunion tour.

    Tennessee at Houston -- Titans

The clock is ticking on the Doms coaching career as well.

Indianapolis at San Francisco -- Colts

Welcome to the NFL, Alex Smith. Yes, the man to your left is trying to kill you. Mr. Freeney loves rookie quarterback with fava beans and a nice Chianti. FVIVIVIVIVIV!

    Carolina at Arizona -- Panthers

MFN curse be damned. We won with screwing up just enough to get the guys mad. Zona gave us a tough game two years ago when we clinched.

    Philadelphia at Dallas -- Philly

Jim Johnsons defense will feast on Bledsoe.

    Washington at Denver -- Broncos

Denver's defense has played suprisingly well. Al Wilson has 22 solo tackles. The 5th and 6th best defenses face off. I'll take the home team.

    Cincinnati at Jacksonville -- Bengals

Jags better solve their offensive line problem soon.

Pittsburgh at San Diego -- Steelers

Hunch. Pitt has an extra week after a tough loss to New England.

    Baltimore @ Detroit - It's more a matter of who doesn't lose.

Chicago @ Cleveland - (see above)

Miami @ Buffalo - If it were December, I'd go the other way.

New England @ Atlanta - I hate Atlanta, have I mentioned that?

New Orleans @ Green Bay - The Saints won't try to sit on a lead.

Seattle @ St. Louis - Never bet on Seattle on the road, never bet against St. Louis at home.

Tampa Bay @ NY Jets - Vinny starts and gets the first loss of his third career.

Tennessee @ Houston - umm, home team wins???

Indy @ San Fran - Alex Smith, meet Dwight Freeney...OUCH!

Carolina @ Arizona - By a fucking FG.

Philly @ Dallas - Until someone stops them, gotta go with the Eagles.

Washington @ Denver - Are the Skins for real?

Cinncy @ Jacksonville - I love what Lewis has done with this team!

Pitt @ SD - Should be a barn burner! Best Monday night game of the year???

    I am fucked, I only have 3 home teams winning...fucked I say!

This week is FULL of a bunch of garbage games where I only picked a winner because I know one of the teams HAS to lose.

    35-25 through Week 4

Baltimore @ Detroit - Mediocrity Bowl I, home field advantage to Lions
Chicago @ Cleveland - Mediocrity Bowl II, see above
Miami @ Buffalo - Road test for Dolphins, which they pass
New England @ Atlanta - If Vick was 100%, I'd have to pick Atlanta
New Orleans @ Green Bay - Don't see the Saints sending the Pack to 0-5
Seattle @ St. Louis - Seattle WRs are hurt, Rams are tough at home
Tampa Bay @ NY Jets - Vinny will have some rust, Bucs eke it out
Tennessee @ Houston - Titans have enough to beat woeful Texans
Indianapolis @ San Francisco - Walk on over to 5-0, Indy
Carolina @ Arizona - Zona could be a tough matchup, but Cats are (finally) focused
Philadelphia @ Dallas - Going with percentages here, but Cowboys could upset
Washington @ Denver - Skins won't squeak this one out, Broncs win big
Cincinnati @ Jacksonville - Is Cincy for real? One step closer to yes
Pittsburgh @ San Diego - This will be a great game the Chargers steal in the end

Baltimore @ Detroit - Baltimore's D finally showed up last week, look for more of the same this week, along with a double-dose of Jamal Lewis.
Chicago @ Cleveland - Cleveland - both teams coming off a bye, how often does that happen? A game of two good coaches with mediocre teams. I look for more INTs from Orton.
Miami @ Buffalo - Miami - Miami's D will handle Losman (or Holcomb)
New England @ Atlanta - New England - Right now the Patriots have to be like a hornet's nest that's been shook-up real good and then pissed on several times.
New Orleans @ Green Bay - Green Bay - Green Bay needs this one bad.
Seattle @ St. Louis - St. Louis - this one's for Martz' heart (suprised he has one)
Tampa Bay @ NY Jets - NY Jets in a close one
Tennessee @ Houston - Tennessee - Jeff Fisher ingenuity
Indianapolis @ San Francisco - Indianapolis - this could get very, very ugly
Carolina @ Arizona - Carolina - hopefully things gel and this becomes a statement-making game. We'll see how the secondary holds up against the 4th ranked passing offense.
Philadelphia @ Dallas - Philly - This separates the men from the 'boys.
    Washington @ Denver - Denver - Denver's D stuffs Portis.
Cincinnati @ Jacksonville - Jacksonville - Both O-lines get punked and this turns into a Defensive game.
Pittsburgh @ San Diego - Pittsburgh - THE Game of the Week.
