I wasn't inferring, or didn't mean to, that morgan was neccessarily fuking up himself, but somehow the whole d line and backers are.

No, Faithwarrior, you're incorrect. LBs are absolutely not coached to just fill any hole that opens up. They have assigned responsibilities, and your MLB is absolutely never supposed to commit himself before the ballcarrier picks his hole. Running headlong into the spot where you think the hole will be is what Lester Towns used to do (and he was a lot better at it than Morgan).

I will try to do a better job of remembering where I heard that in the future, I'm sure I heard from a broadcaster talking about LB play and responsibility. If I hear it again, I'll mention it so we can see if I'm misinterperting what was said. I can't for the life of me remember where I heard it.

Which is why I still believe Morgan would be better outside.

No sweat dude. It's not your responsibility to be a football expert, but I will say that broadcasters are about the absolute worst sources of information. Most are chosen because they either played or because they can talk constantly without saying anything, not because they actually know the game.

Funny, some who have actually played don't seem to know the game, AND know how to talk constantly without actually saying anything of value.

Oh, off topic, but it was nice watching the State- UNC game on TV sat and seeing/hearing Bill Roz as the commentator. He did well, tho state did not.
Them boys need a QB and an O coordinator bad. They got the George syndrom: we are gonna run a fukin west coast offense no matter what type of personel we got, dammit! And we gonna throw 3 yard passes on 3rd and 18 to our slowest WR, by goodness.

That's a thought. I was particularly disappointed in him. Maybe it was his body, and not his soul.
