Any chance Wake Forest goes to a bowl this year? Has Jim Grobe overachieved his first 2 years? This is a damn tough schedule, but everyone in the ACC will have a tough schedule. Have they ever released info on how the divisions will be in 2005 when BC joins?

    Sept. 4 ............................ at Clemson
Sept. 11 ..................... at East Carolina
    Sept. 18 ............... North Carolina A&T
    Sept. 25 ...................... Boston College
Oct. 2 .............................. at NC State
    Oct. 9 ........................... Virginia Tech
    Oct. 23 ......................... Florida State
    Oct. 30 ....................................... Duke
    Nov. 13 ..................... North Carolina
    Nov. 20 ............................... at Miami
    Nov. 27 ......................... at Maryland

VT, FSU back to back, then at Miami and at Maryland to finish the season. Gonna be tough. They'll have to continue where they left off being the least penalized team in the ACC, and being 2nd in the ACC in turnover ratio. Rushing 200 yards per game will be a little tougher this year after losing 2 all-acc offensive linemen.

They sorta remind me of the Panthers in the fact that they run the ball, limit mistakes and turnovers, and have the best punter in the league (5th nationally). They scored 5 defensive TDs last year too, so that helps.

The key games for Wake will be BC and UNC. Those are the swing games IMO. If they can win those they have at least a .500 record and are bowl eligible.

Watch out for Jason Anderson, #80. He jumps over people at the Y. I'm hoping he doesnt break out to much this year so that the Panthers can sneak him in here.

don't anyone say anything bad about Wake. That's where my son played his college football. Just hold your breath that the coach stays there. He's a good one.
