Gaines was generally good at being in a uniform, when he fit in his pants.

what a waste. Hard to believe a guy can get through so much school and be so stupid, hard to believe a guy can work hard enough to get this far and then get here only to get worse.

Speaking of fat guys, why are we still using Moorehead in the wedge on returns. Anyone else realize how ineffective he's been in that role?

I actually thought he played well on defense, but damn, he's useless on returns.

    SS Substitution

It seemed to me that every time Smitty subed himself out and we had Drew & Kerry we always ran a run play next. We dont need new tendencies.

yeah, he looked worse than using Mathis and Bridges in preseason. Which says something.

Moorehead's not a specifically awful DT, though, and did some good things out there. I talked crap about him, and he's shutting me up a little. Still, I wish we had a run stopper behind our starting 2. With Lewis and Moorehead free agents, we'll probably be drafting someone. And then people will speculate on Jenkins, which will pass the fucking time.

Anyone else see the time Diggs basically let a gunner walk right by him? That was odd.

What the fuck is Crossman teaching these guys?

During one of the post-game interviews, Jake told the media that "It was nice to have all the offensive coaches on the same page. Jeff, Richard, Dave, Mike, and Jim all knew the plan, and it was the same plan early in the week as it was today." I thought that said a lot about what's been happening the past few seasons.

They need to draft a DT, sign a mid level FA and dump Kemo in the offseason if his play doesn't improve.

I don't know. It's something I've seen for various receivers, but it won't be a staple of any offense. It's just a different look to challenge the defense and hopefully reveal the coverage.
