Quality is usually better than quantity.

I'm kinda surprised some drunk fan hasn't taken McCoy into a dark alley and beaten the crap out of him by now.

We traded down and got an extra second round pick this year but it did not amount to much, so far anyway. So you have a point.

Depends on how far you you trade - the salary cap implications of a top 5 or 10 pick is pretty heavy.

But for the most part, I agree.

I would never trade up for a Quarterback. They are just way too risky to take at the top of the draft. They are more likely to bust than boom and cost a lot of money. Most of the top left tackles end up being solid and sometimes spectacular. Gross is considered somewhat of a disappointment but he has been a solid starter his whole career. A disappointment at QB is David Carr or Tim Couch.

its a hell of a lot easier to be a starting T than it is to be a starting QB

in regards to trading up, there are too many holes to trade possible picks for one guy, we need to address a few needs...the fact that we missed on a 2nd rounder last year shouldnt be a reason to trade it this year, we need to hit on our 2nd round pick...

Considering that this has been our strategy and it's left us in the QB situation we're in...it may be time to try something different. Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.

Our QB situation has been good under Fox until this season.

the level of expectation and disappointment for a high QB is certainly higher than at any other position in any sport.
