Check out his physical stats before you compare him to Vick. He will be a better passer next year. Did you see him throw and INt and run down field and hit the guy after he took about 5 steps last weekend? Vick can't/won't do that.

Not trying to be a cheerleader her but he is not a punk like vick.

He brought an element to the position that they needed, but I think the team's struggles were primarly because of Collins sucking so bad. They actually had enough talent to be an 8-8 team, but they might of had the worst QB in football starting. So by comparison, Young was much better. It's not that he turned them around by himself; the difference between him and Collins is that Young didn't play like an armless Stevie Wonder.

I have not seen him play very much and he may well turn out to be a great QB. His numbers this season do not indicate that he is one yet though. When a mobile QB learns to beat teams in the pocket like McNabb and McNair learned to do or like Culpepper did for a while before he lost his mojo then I can get excited about them. All Young has shown so far is that he is a great runner.

I hope he is not a punk like Vick but he is starting to get some Vick-like hype.

He's actually below Vick. He isn't as good on the ground, or even as a passer.

That was impressive, but he did throw the interception.

again, it's not the sportsmanship award.

I am talking PHYSCIAL stats, Ya know Height Weigh, etc.

With a mentor like McNair he can't go too wrong.

Overlooked that. Sure, he's definitely a bigger body.

But with his throwing motion, he actually releases the ball from about the same point as Vick. I think he definitely needs to work on that.

I definitely know they are aware of that but not bad for a rookie coming in to a train wreck.

He did do a good job with a bad team but it is almost easier to be successful in that role. He goes out with no pressure and wins some games by running the ball and he looks great. If he had gone to a good team and been asked to get the ball to a star wide out and run a top offense into the playoffs and it would be much harder.
