Who cares? The fact is they didn't win becuase of his great offensive production. I'm not knocking him I'm just saying that other rookies deserved the award more than he.

He did, but you need to look beyond the number. Most of his bigger runs came when he had nothing but green grass ahead of him. Take the winning TD run in OT againt the Texans, for instance. Houston was playing man underneath, which means every linebacker or DB was downfield covering a receiver. All he had to do was take off down field and make one guy miss going into the endzone. That happened quite a bit for him. He does make fantastic plays on his feet, but the numbers are somewhat deceiving.

Definitely not. Young seems like a great guy, but we're not handing out a sportsmanship award.

Ok I will give you that he had a good running back step up too. If their defense was so good why did they have to win there last several games coming from behind in the 4th quarter?

To be honest and having seen them play week in and week out. VY help turn this team around. I mean you had Collins starting and you could see the dread in the huddle. By the end of the season, with VY, the team look inspired and took his leadership.

I can't tell you about Coulson, et al. But he is definitely the reason the Titans excelled in the second half of this year. They suck out loud. He probably saved Fishers job as well. Hate if you want but he is the real deal.

He'll will continue to grow next year as well.

PS I am a Panthers fan not a Titans fan.

I sense the evil eye of Sauron (the Vick hype machine) turning its attention to Young. He is a great runner for a QB. He is average at best as a passer. One day people will realize that this is not a good combo for NFL greatness. To me he had a year similiar to Reggie Bush. He did well at something that is not his primary role just like Bush did great as a receiver but not so much as a runner.
