Besides him running around because he can't read a defense, what does he offer? Nothing. And let's forget how much of a cancer he is. That'll help out here.

 

I wouldn't want Vick unless he was used as a RS and 3rd down back . . . and had a completely different personality

 

the dude is better than jake, and that's not saying much.

 

but what backing is there to say he is? Vick's blown his whole career. Jake's having an off time right now, but let's be honest.

 

better arm, faster, and at this point accuracy is a wash. i'm not so sure jake can read defenses better either. he kind of freaks out when his first read isn't open now, and spazzes. seems like, he used to not do this as bad. just very fed up w/ jake right now. plus, w/ henning, mike would be able to learn the 4-5 plays we run pretty well.

 

Vick's accuracy? He's hitting 51%. And he's never used that arm for anything worthwhile, it's not like the Falcons have ever had a great deep game. If you're arguing that Vick has more potential, he's undoubtedly got that.

Even if emotional and/or vindictive, I could see saying that someone would rather have Plummer or Leftwich, being that either could be available; me, personally, I can't take the "anything but Jake" option, nor sell this team's soul for Vick's immense negatives.

 

I wouldn't trade JD for MV. And I'm almost for benchng JD. So that's my opinion of ron m.
