    Heard a local sports broadcaster in the high country mention that the Falcons are considering a trade of:
    Vick and 1st Round pick for Raiders 1st round pick, Jerry Porter, and Randy Moss

    I haven't heard this anywhere else, but pretty interesting proposal.

    I've seen it on a couple other message boards, but everyone's just speculating. I'll believe it when I see it.

    Cap hit would make that one tough to do.

    That plus if the Falcons had a crappy season after trading Vick, fans would be ready to string Petrino up.

    (especially if Vick had a good year in Oakland)

    so i get randy moss, porter and get to trade one of the most worthless no1 picks in draft history for vick and later no1 pick? done deal.

    Perhaps but he is limited with what he has in Vick his offense IMO. He needs to take a chance to get what he needs to make that team win or continue to be mediocre to good

    Scot is right about the cap figures, but also Blank is much too savvy to let a marketing gem like Vick get away. Some people are turning on him, but what's the only thing that differentiates Atlanta from other teams in the league?

    If they get this offer they ought to snap it up in a heartbeat, deal Moss for more draft picks and select Calvin Johnson with the first pick. WR corp just upgraded to first class for Schaub to throw to and you dumped two players, Vick and Moss, that are more trouble than they are worth. Sounds like a winner to me. Not that I want the Falcons to do something this smart though if the chance comes along...
