    Maybe - but he'll never play football in the NFL again, I'd be willing to put a lot of money on that.

    There is nothing to support that conjecture. The feds have an absurdly high conviction rate, the judge is known as a very tough sentencer, and the evidence is overwhelming.

    he hasn't entered the plea (officially) as of yet. They confirmed what everyone else has reported that he will NOT plead that way. He does so on Monday.

    "The charge carries a potential sentence of "up yo ears in prison", a fine of up to $250,000 and up to three years' probation..."

    Not sure how many that is but it sounds like a really long time:cool3:

    oh. thanks for the link. they edited it to read "up 5 years in prison"...yes, they left out the word "to", but will likely be fixed soon enough.

    So he's guilty of running the ring, but not betting on it, or killing the dogs. the other witnesses said he did bet, and killed the dogs. now what?
