I have been cleaning up a bunch of boxes of stuff and came across a half dozen VHS tapes of when my daughter was a baby, weddings, National Championship games I watched as well as the Cowboys at Panthers playoff game. Where in the Charlotte area can I get someone to move them over from the VHS to DVD and how much should I expect to pay per DVD?

I did all my conversions myself. I bought a Panasonic DVD Recorder that has a DVR-type hard drive on it. The connection from a VHS VCR (assuming you still have one) is pretty easy. Even if you didn't want to pop for the fancier version of the DVD Recorder, you can get them without a hard drive on them for less than 100 bucks now.

There are a few places in town that will do the conversion for you. I don't recall them off the top of my head. But a simple google search turned up a few for me when i researched it. I never priced their services because I decided to do it myself so I could have the ability to burn programming from the TV directly to DVD going forward.
