    I once cooked a 23-pound turkey using a covered foil pan and 44 cans of stern-o.

    took me three fucking weeks

    Very true. But for convenience in heating up stuff, it sure is handy. Melts chocolate, etc. great as well without having to due to the double boiler thing.
