Had some time to dig into the list of available undrafted free agents. Here's a Top-10 list of players I wouldn't mind seeing make the Panthers' camp:

    1. Mark Herzlich, LB, Boston College; have heard NFL teams made a big mistake not grabbing this guy, even though he's had bone cancer. May be the first undrafted to sign somewhere.

    2. Zach Hurd, G, UConn; Versatile, can play guard or center. Good feet. Watch video, moves well but kinda stiff at point of impact.

    3. John Graves, DT, VT; Smart, athletic. Not a space-eater, but a penetrator. Academic All-American.

    4. Josh Jasper, K, LSU; accurate, not a monster leg. An accomplished punter, too. A technician who won't hurt you.

    5. DeAndre Daniels, S, Clemson; good size, tackles well. OK in space. Could develop into a Thomas Davis-type, though Daniels does not possess elite speed.

    6. Armon Binns, WR, Cincinnati; Big, fast, productive. Sticky Hands. Might not be a special teams candidate, which means he'd have to beat out Wallace Wright.

    7. Nic Grigsby, RB, AZ; small, quick, an accomplished receiver out of the backfield. Kevin Faulk comes to mind. Another candidate to return punts.

    8. Kevin Kowalski, G/C, Toledo; I like OL that move well. Kowalski does. Not a mauler, and gets stood up some, but solid for developmental depth. I could see him making it to last cuts then landing on the PS.

    9. Andrew McGee, CB, OK State; Has ideal size, good instincts. On tape, not fluid or quick. Relies on holding and jam at the line. That won't work at the next level. May be depth at the #4 CB and for special teams.

    10. Henry Hynoski, FB, Pitt; I actually like him better as a HB/TE in a Chris Cooley kind of way. There's value in this type of player.

A couple others I looked at closely who didn't quite make my Top-10, but may make yours:

    DeQuin Evans, DE, KU
    Ricky Brewer, LB, Colorado

Delaware QB Pat Devlin. Can't believe he wasn't drafted with the Flacco hype. I think he has a similar skill set, though.
