The ticket guy from the Panthers was on last night and he said they DO follow the rules of regular season on the blackout. It must be sold out by tonight. I hope I can watch it.

It should be on... From what I can recall, blackout rules don't apply for preseason. At least I hope it is...

BUT David Newton did a little more research than I did on the subject, I've been known to be wrong once or twice.

Hey, I'm just going by what I read in the paper. If it's wrong, then blame the newspapers for putting out wrong info.

yeah, both preseason games sold out, but the regular season home opener was blacked out?? Right...I'm certain they didn't follow the blackout rules last year, but of course that doesn't mean anything this year.

Blacking out a preseason game would be like wearing a rubber to jack off. Whats the use and you don't have a big audience anyway.

I can't speak for anyone else here, but in my case I was simply tired of cleaning the ceiling afterwards. Dragging the stepladder out all the time sucked.
