Admitally I don't know how it's going to turn out but I do think that the staff acted very irrationally when they decimated our OL and FS situation. I personally think the staff are the ones who have read too many of their on press clippings and decided they could throw together a new OL out of thin air just because they are who they are. Why we have the deepest front 7 in football and the thinness OL in football I do not understand. I do agree with you that above all the TS firing is likely to cost us dearly. We could however acquire some players that might rescue the situation at cut down time if it's not too late to work them in.

    >>>The Bucs are weakened Defensively <<<

In what way? If anything they are stronger and deeper IMO. They have added a couple of LBs (Gold & Gooch) and they unearthed a promising young DT (Wyms) to replace ol' Sapp. Edwards and Cox have been impressing and add a solid nick and some depth to their secondary. I got more on their D on request.

    >>>and are looking at HUGE changes offensively<<<

Gruden seems to be very good at molding his scheme around the guys he’s got, and he can do that quickly (i.e. look at his first year there). His center piece this year is Garner and those two are very cozy with each other from their raider days together. Though Charlie won't be an every down guy there are enough other options to spread it around (more info on request). Stinchcomb is also an old pal of Grundens and Deese and Steuss have been around long enough to get up to speed quickly. Comella is apparently already poised to take over for Alstott but there are a few current concerns at TE and WR. There is now a lot of talk that McCardell will slink back in right before the season gets started (unless Mia offers enough in a trade for him) and they are high on a couple of other possibilities (I’ll elaborate on request). Gruden is planing on tailoring their O to suit the talent on hand like he always does . . . aside from the above what “HUGE” changes are you referring to?

    >>>They seem more "west coast" now with their additions... with the players they have now they seem more likely to back down when smacked in the mouth<<<

I don’t see where you would draw that conclusion from . . . can you elaborate?

    >>>they lost a lot of their hard nosed tough players.<<<

Other than Lynch, Sapp, and MEshawn I can’t currently think of anyone that they have lost that will be an impact. Out of those three I think two could possibly be addition by subtraction for them. That DT Ellis Wyms has been turning heads so far. Here is just one of the snippets I have found on him lately:

    from PFW -
    >>>The coaching staff has been wowed by Wyms' strength and intensity and has said that Wyms is helping people forget about Sapp very quickly<<<

Sapp was also fading as a player and often a distraction. Most accounts of MEshawn would be similar to those of Sapp and It’s my impression that they were both F’n with team chemistry. Okay, the loss of Lynch I’ll give you but the addition of Gold at LB is about an even trade off IMO. Maybe that's too generous a trade because Lynch is past prime and Gold is still young but Lynch was (and still would be) a spark.

I have a bunch more “stuff” on request if anyone wants to hear it just ask. I’ve been spying on them for a while now.

Yeah I hate them with a passion too. So much so that I decided to put all kinds of time and energy into learning more about them since I believe they look like our biggest competition. Inspired by everybody’s hero Ricky Williams I have been on a search lately for truth. Apparently meat "YOU CAN'T HANDLE THE TRUTH" :D
Anyway, in the past I haven't bothered to seek out much detailed info on other teams, at least not this early in the season. At this point I’ve probably put more research into the 2004 bucs than I have the 2004 Panthers. Like the old saying goes "Keep your friends close and your enemies closer" :evil3:

Maser puts huge emphasis on continuity and he’s got that “if it ain’t broke” type approach with Reyes seemingly entrenched between Gross and Mitchell. On the right side it sounds like chaos so he might in fact be forced to do what you're suggesting but whoever is brought in would have little time to learn and no time to really gel at all. That just doesn't sound like his style to plug a foreign player in late. That first block of games was already looking tough with a “pre-gelled” O-line. Thanks to that vacant right side our first few games suddenly look just a weeee bit tougher. I completely understand where you have been coming from cathead, and I hope that the powers that be are not so blindly cocky that they think they can mold any ol' scrub into an effective NFL starter. Onlt the friggin Pats can get away with that apparently.)
Again, I'm going to continue to believe our coaches can see what we can't and the "talent" that they keep referring to will show up on game day. :xyzthumbs

even at 5 plays, we had different plays for different situations like goal and 2-minute.
