did you expect before the season began we'd be 0-3? No? Probably not? That's what I'm saying.

an athletic runner that isn't interested in being a student of a game. He'll develop really well.

    From a thread in August:
How anyone did not see this with our piss-poor showing in preseason is beyond me.

Magnus, yes after watching us sleepwalk thru 4 preseason games, I held my breathe during the first reg.season game against Philly, then it was I who came on here and said we were in deep shit, along with many others. At the same time, I believe it was YOU who then kept on saying "ah we have 15 more games", like we were going to somehow just flip a magical switch and turn it around.

Just take your medicine, you just missed it. Overall your ok, hell you'll get more right than you miss, I can admit that.

Bottomline, this team has 3 winnable games coming up, after that our schedule gets brutal. They had better get something straight soon, or the final numbers are not going to look good.

There was panic last pre-season after the philadelphia game.

yes, I didn't see a major collapse even after preseason. I was talking about before preseason, of course, since you talked about records. Which people predict before the season (and of course pissily after losses).

Kudos to you for pretending to be so smart for saying you saw it. Were you on your way to making a point?

This wasn't panic....we looked flat the whole pre-season....we didn't do anything that was confidence building and the answer was always...ah it's preseason....but our first team looked flat.

Uh...yeah....preseason isn't always an indicator of how good you might be, but it sure can show how bad you might be. Damn...you got your period?

Magnus, I can't make it more clear for you that there was some who have seen problems with this team for some time now. You know I have always questioned Jake's decision-making, I don't think it takes a brain surgeon to do that. To be honest, why should I waste my energy arguing with you about the Panthers, when the Panthers don't show much energy on the field. I wish them luck and will continue to pull for them, but they obviously have a lot of work to do.

I do agree with the columnists for the Observer (both Sorenson and Fowler) who have said this past week, that the way this season is going, we could very well see some major shakeups in the offseason.
