I think Haynesworth probably plays hard most of the time during the game. I am sure his ego will not let him get pushed around. He may not show up in shape or he may not be a good teammate. A lot like Jenkins.....

"And I'm not sure if you have watched film before, but when he gets fatigued, he taps out. He just falls down to the ground, and you're like, 'Oh my gosh, is he hurt? Is something wrong with him?' No, he's just giving the guy on the sidelines enough time to mosey on out there so he can get up, go to the sidelines, catch a breather, get something to drink and then he comes right back out."

Jenkins doesn't bitch about being in a 34, even though it's not a great fit for him at all.

    Jenkins doesn't kick a guy's face in.

    Otherwise, they're very similar.
I just don't see anyone on that defense who stands to benefit from the change. Andre Carter is a good DE, but was notoriously bad as a 34 OLB during his season under Nolan. Even Orakpo does better just as a rushing end in nickle packages.

Plus they have Haslett designing it, who isn't even good at designing a 43.

Why? they have Brayton, Johnson, Brown, and want Norwood as a situational rusher. McCray is expensive and inconsistent.

Hard to say how expensive he would be since he just got cut. I agree that there is not a lot of need though. You can throw Hardy in that mix too.
