    Lots of players placed on waivers today. Among the bigger names...
    Penguins - Satan
    Ducks - Brendan Morrison
    Hawks - Craig Adams
    Tampa - Gary Roberts

    I'm thinking the Pens are clearing up cap room to make way for a Hossa trade. A lot of Pens fans think it means Kovulchuk is on the way to Pittsburgh, but I don't see them going after another rental.

    Kevyn Adams and Craig Adams won the cup and basically quit afterwards.

    Adams is a decent PK guy--won't score a ton, but the fact the PIT piucked him up signals some physical support if someone tries to rough up Sid or Malkin. I like that pick up for the Pens. Ads is a good role player. he should fit in nicely.

    Not much. At a conditional draft pick I'm ok, if it doesn't work he is a FA and no harm done.

    Eric Cole is back! What do you guys think? I was a fan of Williams, but I guess they need help to get into the playoffs now. I like Cole too, he justseems so streaky to me.

    should've never left. Canes need the help to get to the playoffs, no way the Canes get there without Cole - Cole belongs in Raleigh.

    Cole with a goal and got the first penalty of the game. Canes blow out Calgary, and show a fire that hasn't been seen all year. Canes needed this both for the points and for team idenity.
