Top 3 Desert Island Records Thread

[Chip]

If you could only have three....

John Coltrane - A Love Supreme
Stevie Wonder - Innervisions
this one's a stretch, but works for me (highly recommended):
Stanton Moore - All Kooked Out

[TW1GGY]

Incubus - make yourself (Need something to enjoy the beach with)
Slayer - Seasons in the Abyss (something to stay hardcore with)

I.C.P. - the jeckel brothers (something to laugh at)

[SandMan]

(1) Isley Brothers "Go for your guns"

Aside from that, I could never name one specific LP... I could list about 20 and be happy with what filled the #2 and #3 slots... a mixture of Rock/Pop/Jazz.

[bunkyboy]

Ritual de lo Habitual- Janes addiction
Ocean Rain-Echo and the Bunnymen
All that you can leave behind-U2

[Chip]

Been caught stealin' once when I was 5...
I enjoy stealin'...
It's as simple as that...
When I want somethin' and I don't want to pay for it...

Good call!!!

[bunkyboy]

more like three days and classic girl and then she did...

[lex]

just 3? hmmmm...this is gonna painful....but here goes:

#3. john mayer - room for squares

#2. dave matthews - ants marching

#1. king crimson - islands

of course if you ask me next year...the answers might change, then again, maybe not...

[magnus]

that's evil. Only 3? Can't I leave an arm behind for a 4th?

Uhh, no mixed tapes either, I imagine.

Miles Davis - '58 sessions
Best of Parliament Funkadelic - or something
DMB - Live From Chicago

[Piper]

Miles Davis – Complete Bitches Brew Sessions – 4 CDs
Bob Marley – Songs of Freedom – 4 CDs
Phish – Hampton Comes Alive 6 CDs (if you are limiting me to an official release – if not, I’ll take the entire 2000 NYE show, which is something like 7 CDs all together)
Got to love Box sets

[Chip]

Damn Piper! I love how you managed to squeeze in those extra 11 discs!

Hehehe
