I understand why he doesn't want to post that info.

49er...shoot me a PM if ya want to hit it around a bit. I wouldn't doubt you could beat me, but I would lvoe to see you hit it. I have read where you play a lot, and (if memory serves), you play for some good stakes (or at least the guys you play with do at times).

Anyway, not trying to be a dick....just looking for a game.

Yep, looks like Skybrook is an IRI course these days. Used to be owned by Legacy Management Group based out of Atlanta if memory serves correctly.

I see that Mike Riddle is still the GM out there though. Good guy and he's been there for a good while now. He was brought up from The Legacy in Pinehurst probably less than a year after Skybrook opened in 2000 to replace the HORRIBLE head pro they had initially. I need to drop in and pay him a visit....and see if that "cart fee only" deal he promised me when I left is still good.

Sounds like we need to seriously ramp up a TBR golf outing.

I vote we play Regent Park, then have a poker tourney after at my house.

I live on Birkdale; and never play it. Absolutely factory out here now. It is almost comical. I play across the water these days at a private club by the Dam, and personally know 5 members who live on Birkdale course but play over there.

Cowans Ford.....I figured they had sold all that land for housing by now. I used to play there many many years ago.

It is in good shape. About 8 years back they redid all the greens and added about 400 yards to the course. I know a bunch of members there and it is always in good shape.

It was always a good layout....and it used to be fairly reasonably priced membership.

we any closer on this, Hammer?

Hook it up for a Saturday or Sunday--during the week likely sucks for most.

BTW--I can play golf in the a.m. until school is out...anyo0ne wanting a game, lemme know (I have some places I can call for a hook up-Quail Hollow is NOT one of them, so don't ask).
