    They don't care about hiding him anywhere. More likely he's getting everything he can out of his contract, since having surgery and going in IR gets him more money than he would if he was just getting cut.

    Maybe a blessing in disguise? maybe not since he sucks but he wouldn't have made the team anyway so know we can keep him on the team by putting him on IR.
