    Very very sadly, the Big Ben to Santonio connection that put a wrap on perhaps the best Super Bowl finish of all-time, are both engaged in controversy, both claiming to have been involved in sexual misconduct.

    I wonder if Tomlin will survive this, particularly if Ben doesn't play in 2010, and the team does not make the playoffs in a very competitive AFC North.

    Steelers are known for their loyalty to coaches, but they are also known for the upkeep of an image.

    Odd situation, to say the least. I'm sure Marvin Lewis and John Harbaugh don't mind.

    edit: also, Holmes' incident, while stupid, had no sexual component.

    It's not like my post was rampant anti-Steeler nonsense.

    I like that franchise, personally, but there's no doubt that two of the cornerstone players of that team are dealing with a good deal of personal shit, which is leading to ownership and management having to deal with it.

    Trust me, as a Panthers fan (Rae Carruth, Fred Lane, etc), I can fucking relate.

    Ben will miss time, regardless. You don't have to be found guilty of anything other than stupidity to get suspended by the league, and he's obviously a big fucking idiot.
