    >>Are you seriously going to assert that Reid didn't know what, if anything was wrong with his starting quarterback?

From what I've heard, he really didn't start feeling bad (puking, not able to call the play) until late in the 4th QTR. So its certainly possible.

We could have fun with this. "What did he know and when did he know it."

And though he had an off game, it isn't as if he turned in a Kerry Collins-like performance. As I said, he threw 3 touchdown passes, including one in the 4th. He can't have felt that bad.

    >>I thought we were having a semi-serious conversation. My bad

We are. Semi. Sarcasm is a wonderful thing. You should try it sometime.

Eagles | McNabb Ill Near End of Super Bowl - from www.KFFL.com
    Tue, 8 Feb 2005 12:05:12 -0800

The Associated Press reports Philadelphia Eagles QB Donovan McNabb became sick during the fourth quarter of Super Bowl XXXIX. "He fought to the end. He gave it his all," C Hank Fraley said. "He could hardly call the plays, that's how exhausted he was trying to give it his all. If you remember back when we played Jacksonville two years ago and he ended up puking, it was close to that scene. He exhausted everything he had." Fraley later recalled that WR Freddie Mitchell was forced to call a play, as McNabb became ill.

I do think McNabb choked a bit. If you look at how bad some of his throws were you have to think he did. Hard to match poise with Brady in that situation for any QB. Joe Montana is the only guy I can think of who could.
