Question for you, would you like a Barry Bonds on your baseball team or a Jason Williams on your basketball team?

SF had holes, but they had a lot more talent than their record indicated. Fox took the Panthers to the Super Bowl with less talent on the roster. The breakdown in chemistry between Owens and the rest of the team and staff was a HUGE problem.

Really? :saywhat: Wow. Didn't know that. If McNabb was seeing stars, why on earth didn't Reid pull him and put Detmer in?

I'm not saying it would've been easy, but we all saw McNabb wandering around on the field when they had no time for it. Detmer has executed in the past coming off the bench. Is there any reason to believe he couldn't have done so in JAX for a couple of drives?

It's still not certain whether he had a concussion. But teamates are saying he was nearly puking in the huddle.

Detmer sucks. You don't pull your All-Pro QB with 5 minutes left because he's feeling whoozy. I'm sure he wasn't well, but cmon. I mean, he was well enough to throw that last TD pass, and that was a rocket.

Maybe you do yell at him to freaking suck it up and get moving though.

You know, follow TO's example. :laugh1:

If he can't get the job done, you sure as hell do. Especially in the Super Bowl.

McNabb can puke and play. He's done it before. But if his eggs were scrambled to the point he couldn't execute the offense, Reid should've benched him.
