    What the hell is going on at QB in Tenn?

    They appear set to draft Leinert and be rejoined with Norm Chow. Gotta admit the odds look good for this to happen.

    They retained McNair and they've got Volek too?

    Is Volek gonna get traded or what? Surely he's not gonna be their #3?

    maybe it makes more cap sense to them to cut mcnair after june 1...I'm not sure what his contract situation is...just idle speculation.

    Trade?????

    I heard that they will now attempt to trade McNair or more specifically that a team has expressed interest in him............I believe it was the jets but I can't swear to that...........I will try to find out who it was.

    At the very least Volek will QB and the wide receivers will be better for it. I bet the NFL had a hand in the Saints getting Brees (be it monetary or whatever). Leinert will end up in a trade to the Jets BET ON IT. No way in hell the media darling Leinert was going to go to the bayou and decay Ala Archie Manning. He is following Eli to NYC and be marketed for years

    Btw where do the Titans have all this money to sign top FA?Before the new CBA deal the titans were 18mill over the Salary Cap

    They did just pay him a roster bonus to stay. If they were going to cut him, the time to do it rationally was before the bonus.

    I doubt its a done deal that they get Leinart. NO may take him after all. Someone may trade up with NO to get him. Volek's actually fairly old. Just over 30, I think. He's decent, but not a championship QB. McNair doesnt have much longer.

    They had McNair on the books for a huge cap charge. They did an option not to pay him a 50 mil bonus, I think. So his cap charge went way down. Just my guess.
