Got a 78 FJ Project..... Once that's done, this one will be for towing.

So what is your impression of it overall? I may look into one after the end of the year.

A friend of mine told me not to go to him. He did all his skids and bumpers on his jeep (For only $500 or so) but said the guy has turned into an ass so I probaly won't got to him. Bentup is also working on one. ARB already has one out but it's a little big and about $1100 (Don't wnat to pay that).

    Chip.

So far I like it. It's a Toyota so it drives and handles great. The inside is made so you can hose it our (No carpet, seats are waterproof etc). I got it muddy as shit last week and after 10 minutes with a hose and some 409 it was back to new.

Off road it's insane. It has the real locker an A_TRAC (Active traction control). People at uwharrie were amazed at what it could do.

But if you can get a stripped 4X4 with locker for about 23-24K you'll be good to go. But by year end they will be selling cheaper.

    p.s. they have A/C too.

Do you know if/how that differs from the rear locker I have on my TRD?

When I get one we need to start some kind of dorky club where we get shitfaced and go four wheeling. We can have our own blog.
