I'll rotate them. It's only 1 inch bigger than what I have now.

I'm not commenting on the size, but the ride and tread wear and sound and regular traction on the road of the MT. I have the BFG AT's. and they are all you could ever need on 485.

    Is that your everday vehicle?

It is every day. I've had the AT's on every truck I've had and wanted a little better off road traction on this one. I know it's going to be loud, bad traction in the rain etc. but it is an off road vehicle and I plan on using it for that. The At's are a good all around tire but are shit in mud.

what you took off is closer to a 31 than a 33. please tell me you didnt stuff those 33's in and you got it lifted. If you didnt, you may have actually made your fj worse for offroading than what you started with.

Already been. Went to Uwharrie on Sunday and it was muddy as shit. After 10 minutes the Michelins were like slicks.

The 33's will fit without a lift.

I am getting a lift. Just waiting for the bumper to be finished. The stock bumper sticks out too far and is pretty crappy. People keep popping off the silver things on the side.

    Here's the lift and bumper

Thought about that. I wanted to keep the Michelins for daily drivers and get a set of mudders. but instead of buying $2500 in tires I thought I would get something I could just drive every day. The thing does awesome off road but just needed a little clearance and better shoes. Should be good after this.

Those new FJs are sweet. My dad had an old landcruiser wagon when I was a kid, I have always liked them.
