That wasn't his rookie year. It was year 2. He IR'ed his rookie year beginning the "injury prone" label. The fumbling part goes back to his college days.

Any time you have direct quotes coming from an unnamed source, you can bet your house, wife and children that the "quote" is manufactured by the reporter, who is seeking to justify his story. That is, has been and should be in every bible of journalism. Unfortunately, too many guys out to make a name for themselves resort to this totally despicable tactic and even the top magazines occasionally are guilty. Especially troubling are the quotes from "NFL scouts" and "sources within the organization" who can totally destroy a player. If you can't tell his name, bub, and you're trying to impress with your "inside knowledge," get off your ass and quit making up that shit!

Foster's fumbles against Ohio State dropped him from Heisman contention.

Seifert believed in the axiom "if you can't beat'em, join'em. While with the Niners he could'nt beat the Panthers. It finally cost him his job.
He joined the Panthers and ripped them a new ass. That's my conspiracy theory. Pulling Tim is just more proof.

He'll be out of the game by the end of the third inning with a pulled hammy, turf toe, and a sprained ALC...he'll be on life support by the 5th inning.
