on a Sat.?? That doesn't make sense considering a lot of offices will be closed on Sat.

This makes a lot of sense to me. This allows the working people a chance not just the uptown workers. They will be on the same footing. If you want them come back.
A Nobrainer should figure this out

nope because the NFL generally caters to the "banking class". The uptown workers are sorta their favorites when it comes to this. It figures that group will be the first in line to buy tickets and only worries about allowing everyone else to pick up scraps. See if tickets go on sale on Friday they have uptown workers at the BoA Gates buying tickets. If its Sat. everyone is lazy and uses the phone and internet. It ties up the sales a TON.

last year's single game tickets went on sale July 26, which was also a saturday. There are around 75,000 tickets available on these days which the majority of are sold away from the stadium box offices...no matter what day they go on sale. if there were only one major ticket outlet (i.e. the stadium) that would hold up sales. but the internet, phone, and other TM locations allow for multiple points of sale which is much more efficient.
