Am I crazy or does anyone else actually prefer to watch the games on TV? I was offered upper level seats and passed just because I always seem to enjoy the games more at home. Maybe it's the atmosphere, because I definitely love going to college games, but I think it's also a matter of being able to see everything that's going on.

I have been passionate about this team since 1995. To me, there's no better way to spend a day than at The Bank.

But if film study is your bag, DVR on the plasma never sucks.

I've got a really nice TV - but I love being at the game. It's just the whole environment. I will record it and watch it in HD when I get home though :woot:

It's not so much film study as I can actually see what happened during the play. I would say that maybe I've been sitting in the wrong section except that the atmosphere has sucked wherever I sat, upper or lower bowl (especially lower). *shrug* Guess it's just me.

This I don't doubt. Go with a buddy, have a few brews, talk a little trash to whatever opposing fans you can find.

I'm almost always with someone else when I go, and the presence of so many opposing fans is just another negative. It's just incredibly boring at BoA, especially since I'm used to college atmospheres. I've never been to an NFL game in another stadium, so I'd be interested to find out if it's characteristic of the league in general.

I've actually never been to a college football game, so I have nothing to compare it to.

Regardless, for me, being there > watching on TV.
