I understand the cost of things goes up and the consumer is always going to foot the bill. It looks like the Panthers are trying to go the Patriot route and sign mid level players. I just wish that Jerry would pass on a few fan friendly gestures that wouldn't cost him too much. Cheaper beer, the occassional give away that you won't leave in the stands afterwords, and better half time shows. I have had all the frisbee catching dogs and fat chicks waving pink flags I can take.

Oh and hotter cheerleaders would be nice

Guess addition by subtraction doesn't apply in this case.

"Now the guy's got Paulie as a partner. Any problems, he goes to Paulie. Trouble with the bill? He can go to Paulie. Trouble with the cops, deliveries, Tommy, he can call Paulie. But now the guy's gotta come up with Paulie's money every week no matter what. Business bad? Fuck you, pay me. Oh, you had a fire? Fuck you, pay me. Place got hit by lightning huh? Fuck you, pay me."

Paulie should've owned an NFL team.
