Talking more about the one on one that Collin is referring to.

It's always sad to see someone arguing a point they lost weeks ago. It's like those belligerent midgets who keep challenging people to fights in parking lots. I wonder why they do that.

during the game, I seem to remember Fox (TV) showing Pepp getting chipped on several different occasions, and even sliding the guard to help the tackle when he wasn't chipped. When Pepp was solo on the converted DE, he did get back there. I am not saying he saw doubles the whole game, but he saw a lot of extra attention. I don't think it is fair to say Pepp was solo on him more than he saw at least 2 bodies. (and that guy did look like he was lost on O-line FWIW).

    Bingo, we have a winner!!!!

Don't let Collin read this though, he will disagree and of course only he can be right. :umno:

Peppers did have 2 players on him at some point during the play over 50% of the time. This I watched for my very own eyes. It's one of the things that the Cardinal box kept talking about during the ENTIRE game.

Yes, it is sad you making the same stupid/wrong comments about this topic that you always do.

I was keeping an eye on the Pepp thing during the game (albeit not closely because I was steamed they were losing), but when FOX showed those iso's, I was seeing something there. Still, I agree with Collin that pepp should be better when he is 1-on-1, especially with a converted DE, but its not all on Pepp.

Bother? I am writing a check for $25,000 for his charity. Not really a freaking bother to just hang out with the man and just shoot the shit about things.

Please, do not mother me Collin as I do not respond well to that crap...

No, he really didn't. Peppers had very few pressures in the game, and was handled one on one for the vast majority of plays. Shipp did chip him at least once, but it wasn't often, and the RG almost always helped on our LDT. The only times the RG left the LDT to help on Peppers were when we didn't have an LDT in the game because we were only rushing three with a LE-NT-RE alignment.

Agreed, there is no excuse for him not having a sack or two with 5 games in the books. A player with his ability should have one by accident by now.

I also don't know for sure if Peppers was double teamed or chipped block on over 50% of the plays, but just had to throw that number out there to piss Collin off. You know since we all know it was more than a handful as Collin thinks.

I implied that he got into the backfield--not necessarily to McCown. And also, in that iso video that FOX showed, he got chipped twice by a RB (might not have been the same guy), but still, AZ was paying him plenty of attention. He was NOT doubled more than 50% of the time, but he was being watched.

Oh, and for the record, I am NOT getting into a pissing match with you, only discussing what I saw.
