Honestly, I think it makes some sense. I think all those 'crashes' are starting to catch up to him. Also, an article on the Observer the other day said that Silas liked Jackson guarding SFs instead of SGs which can't happen if Wallace is in the lineup with him.

Course, it all depends on what we get back too!!!

Although I can see trading Wallace for value, this would seem like a pretty big fuck you to the fan base.

If this happens I can pretty much guarantee this will be my only season as a season ticket holder.

We've already given up one former All Star for jack and shit. If we do the same to Wallace I will be beyond disgusted. Especially considering we're in playoff position right now.

If I read that article right we are basically giving them Wallace and a 1st round pick for salary relief? Yeah, that sounds great. Good way to make your team better.

Maybe the rumors that MJ had to get a loan from the NBA to buy the team were true.

I could see dealing Wallace for something to help the team but for salary relief? Beyond being a solid player he is the only guy to be here from day one. If there is a face to the franchise he is it. If they do this I think you will see a lot of people write them off. Not that there are that many people who care right now.

Well I can see the reason to trade him if he is starting to decline, do so while you can get some value for him, but salary relief is stupid, because this isn't Miami where players dream about playing.

He's a public figure... I know him better than some of the maintenance people that come in and out," she told The Consumerist. "I never thought in a million years that that decision was going to cost me my career."
